Blue Jays over Red Sox- MLB plays the most games and has the longest schedule of any professional team sports and it is expected that the better clubs will rise to the top before the season's end. Boston after starting 0-3 getting swept by the Orioles of all teams and from that point posted the best record in the AL until this past week as they have now lost seven of their last nine games and are 1-5 on their current road trip. Toronto is at a season high 8-games over .500 and now trail the Red Sox by just 3-games in the loss column and are hosting Boston in Toronto for the first time in two years where the Jays are now 6-1 in their first home stand. Boston will start Nathan Eovaldi (9-6, 3.71 ERA) who at times has 'electric' stuff when in command and he will be opposed by rookie right-hander Alex Manoah (3-1, 2.47) who has held opponents to just 30 hits in 47.1 innings.
