Point Spread: -1.50 | -110.00 Detroit (Home)
Result: Win
This is a 10* PUCK-LINE DESTRUCTION on the Detroit Red Wings.
The SU price is obviously way to steep to play, but the PUCK LINE offers pretty good value in my opinion. Both teams are coming off of games yesterday, Detroit followed up a 5-2 loss to Calgary on Friday with a 5-3 setback to Boston on Sunday. A date vs. the lowly Oilers is just what the doctor ordered to get untracked for the Red Wings, they've gone 14-0-2 in the series since 2009. Note that goaltender Jimmy Howard has won 11 straight in the series, while posting a 1.43 GAA in the process. Edmonton comes in off last night's 7-4 loss in Carolina, the team blew a 3-0 lead in just over six minutes during the second period. Note that the Oilers are a poor 1-7 (-6 units) when playing on back-to-back days and just 2-10 (-7.8 units) after scoring four goals or more in their previous contest. Conversely, note that Detroit is 4-3 (+1 units) when playing on back-to-back days this year and is 12-7 (+3.3 units) after allowing four or more goals in its previous contest. I think the conditions are definitely right for a blowout, play on DETROIT on the PUCK LINE.
