This is an 8* TOTAL ART OF THE GAME on the OVER between the Boston Celtics and the Washington Wizards.

Neither of these teams has been playing to too many high-scoring affairs of late (including their game against each other just last night), but in my opinion, the conditions are now finally right for a higher-scoring shootout, all signs definitely point to the higher number as the savvy move here. The Wizards will definitely be motivated after losing 101-93 in Boston on Sunday, but a date at home is just what the doctor ordered to get untracked as they've won four straight there coming in. After posting just 21 assists last night, Washington's lowest total of the year, I absolutely expect the home side to come in more focused this evening. Boston though will be looking to win a fourth straight and could care less about the Wizards issues. The C's will have to be sharp today though, note that Washington is 9-2 at home with their last three victories there coming by an average of 22.3 points. So with the home team pushing the pace and looking to atone for some sloppy play, I'm definitely expecting a faster paced game this evening. Fast game = more shots and more shots = more points. Note that Boston has seen the total go OVER the number in four of six road games this year, while Washington has seen the total sail above the posted number in seven of 11 home contests. In my opinion, all signs do indeed point to the OVER as the sharp wager in this one.
