Result: Win
The Colts are in early-season desperation mode at 0-2. The Bears are lucky to be 1-1 and even luckier to be 2-0 ATS.
The Bears have been outgained by an average of 100 yards a game. They have managed only one offensive TD. Caleb Williams has the lowest passer rating of any starting quarterback now that Bryce Young has been benched.
The Colts have an elite running back, Jonathan Taylor, and Lamar Jackson Lite in quarterback Anthony Richardson, who has underrated wide receivers to throw to. The Colts rank third in the league in yards per play thanks to Richardson's big-play ability.
Indy's weakness is run defense where it gives up 237 yards on the ground. That's the worst mark in the NFL.
However, the Bears built their offense around Williams and three good wide receivers. The Bears haven't demonstrated an ability to run the ball well. They rushed 22 times against the Texans last Sunday night and averaged just 3.2 yards per attempt.
The Bears can't keep relying on defensive touchdowns, special teams touchdowns and opposing runners to fumble in the end zone to pull out point spread covers.
