Perhaps it's a leap of faith. But I think Nathan Rourke regains his star status and BC stops the pain with a victory against Ottawa after losing to the Redblacks on the road last week, 34-27. Even though Rourke didn't play well in that loss, the Lions did some things right. They had more first downs than Ottawa and out-rushed the Redblacks, 165-63.

The setting should help BC. The game is being played on Vancouver Island in Victoria in a makeshift 14,000 seat stadium. It's the first CFL game played at this venue. Ottawa is 6-0 at home, but 2-2 on the road.

Rourke should have the rust off. He played in the NFL after his superstar 2022 CFL season. This will be his third game since returning to the league.

The Lions opened the season 5-1, but have lost five in a row. This is a circle-the-wagons game for them and it's quick revenge.
