The price has come down enough where there is solid value backing Madison Bumgarner at home against a cold Michael Wacha.

Bumgarner has made nine starts since returning in mid-July from his shoulder injury. He's been more than solid with a 2.78 ERA.

Wacha, on the other hand, really is struggling. He's lost three in a row, pitching five innings or fewer in four of his past five starts. The Cardinals are vulnerable at closer now, too, with Trevor Rosenthal done for the season.

The Giants are expected to get back Buster Posey today after he missed the Padres series with a sprained thumb.
