Arizona has had four days to stew and to make defensive adjustments following a 5-2 road loss to Anaheim this past Friday. The Coyotes have lost their four games and are in serious stop-the-pain mode. This matchup sets up well for them drawing Vancouver, which beat Colorado last night, 3-1.

The Canucks hadn't scored more than one goal in three straight games before defeating Colorado. The Canucks are 26th in goals scored and lose more faceoffs than any team in the league. They are 6-18 the past 24 games following a victory.

Arizona has been at its best facing Pacific Division rivals going 11-4-2 against them and being at home versus opponents with a losing road mark. The Coyotes are 11-5 the past 16 times in that role.
