Stephen Nover's Monday Free Play
(MLB) Houston vs. LA Angels,
Money Line: -120.00 LA Angels (Home)
Result: Win
The Astros were overachieving on the road this season, but that has stopped. Houston is 3-9 in its last 12 away matchups and has dropped 10 of its last 13 at Angels Stadium.

Houston is at its weakest on the road versus southpaws and that's the case here. The Angels have lefty Hector Santiago going. Santiago has been very solid at home with a 2.49 ERA. He also has a 2.51 ERA in night games and is backed by a fresh Joe Smith and closer Huston Street, who give the Angels a bullpen edge.

The Astros are going with southpaw Brett Oberholtzer. He's seeking a third straight victory, a feat he has to yet to achieve during his big league career. There's a reason for that - Oberholtzer just isn't very good especially on the road where the Astros have dropped 11 of his last 16 starts.

(Editor's note: In addition to this selection, Stephen has his Mispriced Crusher going today.)

Oberholtzer has lost during his last three starts against the Angels posting a 7.02 ERA during this span. The Angels have a winning mark against lefties.

Houston still could be without star second baseman Jose Altuve, who only has played in one full game during the past 10 games due to a hamstring injury.
