Nevada isn't a considerably worse team without Kenan Blackshear (as they showed earlier this week when they upset Colorado State without him) but his absence definitely does matter.

Fresno State has lost four straight but this Bulldogs team has been playing better for a while now. Fresno State has swept the other bottom teams (Air Force and San Jose State) for their four MWC wins but are starting to compete with the better teams losing by 2 to UNLV to start the losing streak and by 4 in overtime to Utah State last time out.

Fresno State lost the first meeting by 15 to Nevada but I think the Bulldogs are much improved from what they were in early January and Blackshear was the best player on the floor for Nevada in that game.

Nevada coming off a huge upset win and has a huge game on deck against Boise makes this a great spot to back the Fresno St team as a juicy dog on Friday night!
