The reason I like the matchup for Delaware is both of these teams line up in similar fashion where they play with one true big and surround that player with smaller, quicker guards. Drexel is also a dismal 5-10 on the road this season and hasn’t won a road game since beating Elon over a month ago. Delaware was embarrassed on their home court by Charleston last Thursday and this sets up as a nice bounce back revenge spot here. Another important thing to note is Drexel leading scorer Justin Moore missed the Hofstra game with an illness. Despite being Drexel’s leading scorer he too has struggled with consistency, he didn’t shoot a high percentage against Campbell and was a combined 4 of 17 in the previous meetings against Hofstra and Charleston so there’s no guarantees he returns and just goes off here. I expect the Delaware Blue Hens to pick up a big home win on Monday night.
