5*
(NCAAB) Siena vs. Saint Peter's,
Point Spread: 8.50 | -110.00 Siena (Away)
Result: Loss
St Peter’s has really missed Corey Washington, he’s the leading scorer (14.5 points per game) on a Peacocks team that’s 358th nationally in field goal percentage but has been out since leaving a game against Rider with injury on January 25th. Since the Washington injury, St Peter’s is just 1-4 with their only win in that span coming in Albany against this Siena team.

Siena has two of the best players in the MAAC Conference on their roster in Sean Durugordon and Michael Eley. Both Durugordon and Eley have missed time, both have had to play though injury and the supporting cast has been truly horrific but there are complimentary pieces on this Siena roster that are improving.

Siena isn’t your typical mid-major, Siena basketball is the main attraction in a fairly big market so the Saints are one of the few mid-majors in the country that truly gets covered like a professional team. The fans and local media have been BRUTAL, there was a petition going around to fire Maciarello and it’s just been a very negative situation during the seven game losing streak so, at least for right now, that jolt of positivity is massive for the mindset of this team. There is a ton of heat for this team to produce and I think the Saints give another strong effort here so we are taking the pts with SIENA as our best bet on Friday night!
