5*
(NCAAF) Minnesota vs. Purdue,
Point Spread: -1.50 | -110.00 Minnesota (Away)
Result: Loss
The Boilermakers have allowed their opponents to score 31 points or more on six occasions this season. As mediocre as the Golden Gophers offense has been and even with the uncertainty of Taylor’s status, they should still be able to get points on the board against this soft defense. Minnesota is just one win away from that bowl bid eligibility and with No. 1 Ohio State looming next week, it’s in their best interest to get things done now. Purdue is 1-3 ATS in their last four while Minnesota has gone 3-2 ATS in their last five games. Lastly Purdue is a horrible 4-16 SU and 3-17 ATS provided their opponent carries a pointspread won/loss percentage less than .500. Finally, at home returning off two or more road wars, PU has struggled. Look for MINN and Coach Fleck would like to get victory here and look forward to a bowl game.
