I think Texas is in a great spot today and hence why they are now the overall favs to win the World Series.
I think Eovaldi has been lights out and he is the right spot here versus Valdez who has struggled terribly in his last few games. The Astros Valdez has struggled in his previous three games, generating a 0-2 record with a 9.22 ERA and 1.98 WHIP. He lost his last start, which came in Game 2 of the ALDS against the Minnesota Twins. He lasted only 4.1 innings and allowed five earned runs on seven hits and three walks.
It is hard to ignore that he has gone 13 innings and 14 runs over his last 3 starts. The Rangers are rolling and undefeated in the post-season so we get a major edge with Texas this afternoon.
