4*
(NFL) Houston vs. Baltimore,
Point Spread: 9.50 | -110.00 Houston (Away)
Result: Loss
The Texans hope that Ryans instantly brings credibility to the Texans' defense. Last year, they were solid 10th against the pass. Derek Stingley Jr. gets set for his second season at corner and has the ability to be a true shutdown cornerback. Steven Nelson starts on the other side and the Texans added depth Shaquill Griffin as a nickel. The biggest change defensively comes on the defensive front where Anderson Jr. is expected to give the Texans a legitimate pass-rushing threat this season.
In their last 5 games last season their defense only allowed 16 ppg and I think this spread is too high and we like the Houston Texans plus the +9.5-10 pts on Sunday.
