While the Pirates are coming in off a win over Baltimore Sunday, but they have dropped 11 of their previous 13 games. Their two wins in that stretch came in games where Keller started on the mound for Pitt and, since he threw Sunday, he’s not available today.
That’s a problem for the Pirates, which has struggled to put runs on the board of late. Tigers SP Lorenzen has had good success against the Pirates in his career and the Tigers are at home here and I like their chances to get the win tonight.
