San Diego took three of four from Arizona on the road over the weekend as their team is finally getting closer to full strength. The Padres improved to 12-12 on the season entering tonight and stood third in the NL West, one game behind the Diamondbacks for the top spot. In Sunday’s game, San Diego got three hits from Matt Carpenter (run, five RBI) while Jake Cronenworth (two runs, two RBI) added a pair. Blake Snell is off to a slow start but that is usually the case for him. Now with 4 starts under his belt he was better in his last start and should be even better to form tonight. Take the Padres as a nice dog here on Tuesday night.
