Result: Win
It's finally here, Opening Day 2021!
St. Louis should be battling for first place in the Central this season as they have a solid rotation which is started off by none other than Jack Flaherty. He has a career 3.37 ERA and 1.09 WHIP. He has a 2.48 career ERA when facing the Reds in 7 starts. He's been ever better lately though, putting up a 0.55 ERA in his last 3 starts facing the Reds. Jack's been a fast starter too, putting up his best numbers at the start of the year. Flaherty is a reliable ace to get at an underdog price.

For the Reds, they'll start Luis Castillo who is coming off of a great season last year. He went 4-6 with a 3.21 ERA. Unlike Flaherty it took him a bit to get going as he put together his best month in September. Castillo is 4-4 with a 3.86 ERA in his career when facing the Cardinals. Matt Carpenter has a .429 average in his career when facing Castillo. Yadier has hit him for a .318 average across 19 at-bats.

The Cardinals are 20-8 in their last 28 games in Cincinnati. We'll take St. Louis as a slight underdog here.
