(NCAAB) Maryland vs. Connecticut,
Point Spread: -3.00 | -110.00 Connecticut (Home)
Result: Loss
For Connecticut, their offense just needs to play average, assuming the defense picks up like they have all season. Their 64.6 oppg is nothing to sneeze at. The Terps are going to be tough - Mark Turgeon has put together a gritty team that plays hard - but anybody thinking this Connecticut cant roll them, with their stifling D, hasn't been watching. I expect Connecticut to win by more than enough. Maryland has not been playing together, their offense needs better execution, as does their ability to cut off passing lanes. With leading scorer James Bouknight in the lineup, UConn has lost just three times this season. Second-leading scorer R.J. Cole missed the final stretch of their final game after suffering a concussion. He'll be back for this matchup against Maryland. UConn has a coaching edge, too.
