(NCAAB) St. Bonaventure vs. LSU,
Point Spread: 2.00 | -110.00 St. Bonaventure (Away)
Result: Loss
I came into this season really high on this St. Bonaventure team, as they brought back all 5 starters from a team that won 19 games the year before. They got the experience you love to see going into the NCAA Tournament and their two best players are both juniors in point guard Kyle Lofton and shooting guard Jaren Holmes. Not only do they have experience and great guard play, they play defense at a very high level. The Bonnies finished 18th in the country in defensive efficiency. I think they make a really tough matchup for the Tigers. Don't get me wrong, LSU is talented, but are also a young team that wants to play fast. I also think you have to look at LSU losing in non-conference to St. Louis, who is one of the better teams in the A-10. I think the wrong team is favored in this one. Give me St. Bonny with the points Saturday afternoon.
