EDM outshot the Jets 45-24 on Monday and lost.

The Oilers had been playing well prior to the game on Monday night, but the Jets outplayed them for most of the game and walked away with the hard-fought win. Mike Smith got the start and he did not pay well, allowing four goals in the first 22:31 of the game. In came Mikko Koskinen and while he took the loss, he allowed just two goals over the rest of the game. The Oilers played much better with him in the crease and I can see him having a good game tonight leading his squad to a nice bounce-back win. We are playing the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday night.
