Michigan State has beaten Rutgers 10 straight times and now Rutgers being a favorite is telling me something.
MSU was on a skid prior to the COVID-19 outbreak within its program. It would be surprising to see them snap out of that losing streak in a road game coming off the long layoff. Several key players have had to miss practice time during the break. Rutgers finally got back on the winning track in its last game, so that should lead to some confidence heading into this one. The Scarlet Knights are much better than they showed in the first meeting of the season between these teams.

Michigan St won that game by 23 holding Rutgers to a season low 45 pts and Rutgers was 6-17 from the FT line and only shot 30%. It will be a different story on their home court night.
