The GA Southern Eagles are flat out monsters on the ground. They are averaging 262.5 yards per game on the ground in a modified option system out of the spread formation. Meanwhile, Louisiana Tech ranks 9th in their Conference USA in rushing defense at 184.56 yards per game and has given up 22 rushing touchdowns. To put it nicely, they suck at trying to stop the rush never mind option looks. This is just a bad matchup for the Lou Tech Bulldogs.
