It's hard not to like the Monarchs in this game. Florida International is ranked 11th in the conference on the defensive end of the floor. Rebounding has also been a major issue for FIU, which ranks dead-last in the nation on the defensive glass. Opposing teams have hauled in a whopping 37.5 percent of their missed field goal attempts against the Panthers' defense so far this year. Old Dominion happens to be the best offensive rebounding team in the conference and the Monarchs also do a good job of taking care of the basketball, so I like their chances of having an efficient offensive performance here and getting a big win despite Flor-Int with the better overall record.
