(NCAAF) LA Tech vs. Miami-FL,
Point Spread: -6.00 | -105.00 Miami-FL (Home)
Result: Loss
The Hurricanes defense is very good and this Miami team is 22nd in the nation against the pass and the Canes are 16th against the run.

Louisiana Tech might look strong with their 9-3 overall record, but when looking at their resume there isn't much of anything in the way of strong high tier wins for the Bulldogs. Louisiana Tech only has 1 win against a team with a record above .500 this season and that came against the 7-5 Southern Miss Golden Eagles. In their 1 game against a Power 5 opponent, La Tech fell to Texas on the road by a final of 14-45.

Miami clearly didn't have the kind of regular season they were hoping for and we feel this group largely under-performed going 6-6 overall.

Miami started showing some fight down the back half of their regular season picking up ACC wins against the likes of Virginia, Pitt, Florida State, and Louisville.

We're a bit skeptical on Louisiana Tech given their lack of high or even middle tier wins this season. Lou Tech will have more fans here at the Independence Bowl but as long as Miami comes into this matchup with some sense of purpose the Canes should be able to grab an win and cover behind much more talent on the field.
