I think App State overlooked Georgia Southern last week and was upset. THey seem to get fired up for the big schools. Already beat NC this year and took Penn St to OT last season.
There's nothing like a humbling loss before a big game to help refocus a team.
I expect Appalachian St to come out strong and hungry.
South Carolina's offense, average when healthy, must get by without their top RB Tavien Feaster who is OUT and their # 2 WR Shi Smith (hamstring) is questionable to play. I expect a tight game and App State to stay within the number on Saturday night primetime action.
