LSU has won its last 13 home openers by an average of 33 points. Georgia Southern won 10 games last year, but the only two times it's played a ranked Power 5 teams over the last five years, and it resulted in 31- and 34-point blowout losses.

LSU has had plenty of time to prepare for Geo Southern and their triple option offense.



LSU's defense is going to be an SEC elite unit this year and the offense has 8 starters back and should be very effective to put up points. Just too many athletes and size on LSU as they should cruise to a comfortable blowout win.
