4*
(MLB) Pittsburgh vs. LA Angels,
Money Line: -145.00 LA Angels (Home)
Result: Loss
These teams are moving in opposite directions. The Pirates come in having lost eight straight and they're just 4-24 since the All-Star break. Pittsburgh had an 8-4 lead after six innings in St. Louis last night and it still lost 11-9. And after losing eight in a row, the Angels come in having won back-to-back, including yesterday's 5-4, ten-inning effort over the Red Sox.
Both starters have struggled, but Suarez does benefit though from throwing at home and note that Pittsburgh is a a terrible 7-17 in its last 24 interleague road games as an underdog in the +135 to +165 range. I like Mike Trout and company to build off their back-to-back wins over Boston with another big performance at home Monday night.
