10* NL Game of the Week
(MLB) Chi Cubs vs. Cincinnati,
Money Line: -124.00 Cincinnati (Home)
Result: Loss
The Reds have hit 16 home runs across the last week. The lineup is being led by a rookie who has been on fire!
Cincy took the Cubs to the woodshed on Saturday afternoon earning a 10-1 victory at Great American. Cincinnati has won five of its last six games, 10 of 14 and are four-and-one-half back of the second NL wild card spot with a 56-50 mark on the season.

Heading into the finale of the four-game series the Reds have the edge, favor if you will, in starting pitching, lineup form and bullpen.

The Reds send Cy Young contender Luis Castillo to the mound for the Sunday start. Castillo has been nothing short of spectacular this season. And save two poor performances this season would be neck and neck with Cole of the Astros as the favorite to win the season ending award.

Jon Lester (9-8, 4.39 ERA) has not been sharp in a month. When a veteran pitcher, surrenders 11 runs (10 earned) over four innings while allowing 10 hits with three walks and two homers it is more than an off day... it is a concern.

Lester has now allowed 19 runs in his last 22 innings.
Chicago is just 22-35 on the road and a different team away from Wrigley.
The Cubs have scored just 3 total runs on 12 hits over the last two contests at hitter-friendly Great American. I'm backing the Reds here with their ace to get the win on Sunday.
