Cubs over Reds- Having played against the Cubs Sunday posting St. Louis 3-0 as ‘our’ Megabucks winner, I feel very comfortable coming back with Chicago behind Marcus Stroman (10-7, 3.51 ERA). He has lost three of his last four decisions and was pounded by the White Sox last time out. This will be his last showing before the trade deadline expires and who know how it will affect him, but he is still amid his best season as a 10-year pro. The Cubs should bounce back today against the Reds Andrew Abbott (6-2, 1.90) whose numbers are off the charts with 66 K’s, in 61 innings with just 40 hits... but this is just one of those things. Take CUBS!
