Tigers over A's- The Tigers were supposed to be 'new' and 'refreshed' this season with higher expectations but they currently have the worst record in the AL as they were just swept four games in Houston and have lost six in-a-row. Oakland not be be out done has dropped nine straight as they just don't hit. The A's have only two of 12 position players hitting above .225 and after continuous season of quality players leaving the franchise it has taken its toll. Michael Pineda (1-1, 3.77 ERA) will make his fourth start of the season for Detroit. He's 4-1 with a 3.05 ERA in seven career starts against Oakland. Take the TIGERS!
