Tar Heels over Demon Deacons- Here we go again with an unranked team (not even with a winning record favored over a Top-10 teams as disappointing North Carolina is favored while hosting No. 9 and undefeated Wake Forest. The Tar Heels were ranked No. 10 to start the season but at 4-4 this game is crucial if they hope to qualify for the bowl bid of any kind and have a tough battle coming up Thursday against Pittsburgh. Wake Forest has had great starts before but usually falter in November where they are 7-11 in the past five seasons. The Demon Deacons put up 496 ypg on offense but NC isn't far behind averaging 483 ypg.
