Nationals over Metropolitans- One thing that I can say about Washington's Patrick Corbin's (7-14, 6.26 ERA) season is that he has been consistent and I mean consistently bad the entire year. I was looking for a sloiver lining and found that in his last nine starts he has given up four runs twice, five runs twice and six runs three time and he is not pitching deep into games. Since the Mets gave their faithful the 'thumbs down' they have responded winning their last five and will send Trevor Williams (4-2, 4.27 ERA) who is 0-0 with the Mets having come over from the Cubs in four appearances and has thrown 13.1 innings for New York surrendering just one earned run. But, the Mets are 27-41 on the road and the Nats are 32-38 at home which give them a chance. Take WASHINGTON!
