Tigers over A's- The A's seem to have lost their 'mojo' as they have lost their last three and 4-of-5 while slipping out of wild card position as the Red Sox and Yankees have passed them in the standings and they trail by 2-games. In the last series between these two Oakland swept the Tigers four straight games outscoring Detroit 21-6. This time around the line is a mere pick-em and this time it reflects their current play. The A's will start Cole Irvin (9-12, 3.68 ERA) who has struck out only seven batter in his four August starts. His mound opponent will be Tarik Skubal (8-11, 4.01) racked up 10 K's in his last start in five innings against St. Louis. Take DETROIT
