Marlins over Phillies- These two squads split a twin-bill Friday with Miami winning the second game 7-0 as the Phillies managed just a pair of hits. Philadelphia will send inconsistent Vince Velasquez (3-4, 5.35 ERA) to the mound and he is 6-4 with an ERA of 4.19 in 19 starts against the Marlins. Miami will start rookie Zach Thompson (2-2, 2.25) who spent seven years in the White Sox farm system and is making the best of his opportunity and is facing the Phillies for the first time. The Marlins are 5-1 in their last five against right-handed starters but just 6-16 in their last 22 road games. Still, it's MIAMI!
