Phillies over Cubs- So, the Cubs finally won after 11 straight defeats but they lost a part of starters as Javier Baez when down along with Kris Bryant who is ailing once again. Chicago will start Adbert Alozlay (4-8, 4.48 ERA) who has had some success at home but it was awhile ago as the Cubs have lost his last four starts. Despite yesterday's loss the Phillies had won the previous six meetings although they are 16-35 as road underdogs. They have been know to lay down themselves, but after a beating they took I expect a rebound here. Philadelphia will start Zack Elfin (3-6, 4.18) and he is off a six inning outing against the Padres while surrendering just two hits his best of the season. Cubs 1-6 last six against right-handers after last night's win. Take the PHILLIES!
