Dodgers over Nationals- Streaks are a major part of baseball over the long season and the Dodgers have won seven in-a-row while Washington is off a 14-3 run in their previous 17 games prior to last night's rain shortened 6-2 loss to L.A. The Nationals will send Max Scherzer (7-4, 2.14 ERA) to the mound and he has given up more than two runs just twice this season in 15 starts but has had poor support especially at home where he has loss his last three starts. The Dodgers will start Julio Urias (9-3, 3.95) who with that ERA and nine wins has received plenty of support when hurling. LA is 4-0 against the Nats this season and have outscored them 19-7. Oddsmakers have Scherzer an underdog at home and that speaks volumes. Take LOS ANGELES!
