Giants over Rockies- Between these two NL West rivals they have lost their last 10 games as both clubs enter this fray on five-game losing streaks. For the last-place Giants it is as bad as it gets as they carry the worse record in baseball into tonight's game. Colorado will start German Marquez (5-3, 3.92 ERA) has won five of his last six decisions but lost his only career start against the Giants surrendering six runs and 12 hits in 4.1 innings last September. San Francisco will start Jeff Samardzija (2-9, 4.74) who has won just one of his last seven starts despite allowing four runs or less six times in those starts. This time around he gets the win.
