Marlins over Royals- Like 'ships passing in the night' Thursdays starters in Miami are headed in opposite directions. Kansas City's Edinson Volquez (9-10, 5.04 ERA) has had five straight rough outings going 1-2 with a 7.16 ERA allowing 26 runs, 41 hits and six homers. But, Volquez has been outstanding against the Marlins posting a 6-0 record with a 1.64 ERA last pitching against them in 2014. Hard throwing Tom Koehler (9-8, 3.82) has been dominating of late going 3-0 with a 1.62 ERA in his last six starts surrendering just 26 hits in his last 39 innings. Tonight it's MIAMI!
