Mariners over Tigers- Very quietly the Detroit Tigers have moved into a tie for a AL Wild Card spot as they have won 10 of their last 12 and are 27-15 in their last 42 contests. A good part of their resurgence has been the development of Michael Fulmer (9-2, 2.42 ERA) who has been impressive away from home going 7-2 with a 2.88 ERA. The Tigers have won the last seven games that Fulmer has started and are 15-2 overall in his starts. Seattle will start Hisashi Iwakuma (12-7, 3.99) is 31-18 with a 3.23 ERA in his career at Safeco Field and are now 15-6 when Shawn O'Malley starts at shortstop. Take the MARINERS!
