Result: Loss
Washington is fifth in snaps and with the long break, Kirk Cousins will regroup. Seahawks backup offensive tackle Alvin Bailey is out. The Seahawks could miss Bailey in this game more than others. With starting tight end Zach Miller out after undergoing minor ankle surgery, Bailey could have been used in the three-tackle formation. It is something the Seahawks did successfully with Bailey at the end of last season.

Seattle talked about opening up their offense this season. They have gone over 2-of-3, but where the bye week will help is they can add some new wrinkles to fulfill that promise of a more aggressive offense. They are already averaging 7.1 yards per pass to teams normally permitting 6.4 and are trending up. Washington is much better at stopping the run then the pass, so Seattle can attack the weakness.

Kirk Cousins sports a 62 percent completion percentage this season. But his worst week was on a very short week. Now he has extended rest and preparation time.
