Georgia Southern is the top margin of cover team in the entire nation, covering each of their games by 11.5 or more and with a +21.6 spread margin. Three of their four games have been on the road including at NC State and Georgia Tech, so they are quite tested. They are their only two losses by a combined five points so they are that close to being undefeated.

The option attack of GSU is so tough to defend, much less on a short week. Appalachian State is coming off a heart-breaking loss to lowly Southern Miss. Taking defeat from the jaws of victory is a tough situation to hit the road to an underrated team.
