Combine the two and you have a team hell bent on staying competitive. Last year Baylor took advantage of a Bulls defensive unit slowed by fatigue in the 100-plus degree environment and a team that traveled 1,269 miles south and took care of business.

Now it is Baylor that is doing the traveling and the temperature is expected to be in the 50s. Yes ESPN and other talking heads are overanalyzing style points and if the season ended today, who would make the playoffs, etc. Still Baylor destroyed two cupcakes and does not have the style points motivation of last year. An undefeated Baylor team makes the playoffs, so a 40-point rout would only be relevant if they lose along the way. True this could happen but it is less motivation than last year.
