Indiana is a dichotomous spread and straight up team. This means if a team is consistently winning outright but failing to cover or losing outright and covering, we ride the spread streak. This has proven to be a way to isolate over and undervalued teams. They are 52-23 straight up including 33-5 at home, but on a 4-22 against the spread, 1-7 at home.

Each of their last three games, they have failed against the spread by 14.5 or more. They have failed in six straight, with all but one by at least eight against the spread.

Again, in order to win, preach defense all you want, but the key is to get the ball in the basket. They have scored 90 or fewer points in six consecutive games, the longest such streak since a run of eight straight games in January 2001.

They have shot below 40 percent in each of those contests. They are shooting 43.9 percent on 2-point shots during their last 17 games, in which they have gone just 7-10, after shooting 48.7 percent in their first 58 games.
