Major
(NCAAB) Dayton vs. Stanford,
Point Spread: -3.00 | -110.00 Stanford (Home)
Result: Loss
Stanford has the height that will overwhelm Dayton. This is the smallest team the Cardinal played in the tournament and their first two foes struggled with the height. The weakness of Stanford is their lack of depth as 87.3 percent of their scoring comes from starters. That is much more pronounced in the regular season, but benches become shorter in the postseason and Stanford has the much better starting five.

The Flyers Matt Cavanaugh does not have the talent to slow down the Stanford inside game. If Dayton over-adjusts, Chasson Randle will make them pay. Frankly at times talking heads overplay matchups. The more talented team almost always matches up better to the less talented team. But Stanford can stick to their game plan, while Dayton is going to have to devise something on defense to minimize the mismatch. Cards win by double the spread.

Not even averaging one-point per possession, how does Dayton keep up?
