Keep in mind that Florida made so much about their senior class winning the SEC Tournament after winning three regular season titles but never the official SEC championship. So they came out very flat against an overmatched Albany squad. On the other hand, in what was a Wise Guy winner for us, Pitt dominated a Colorado squad that is NIT quality with their best player gone for the season.

So Pitt is not nearly as dominate as they looked in the opening round and the Gators hiccups were forgivable. And it while it may have been the Gators worst game, it was the same margin Pitt beat them by on New Years Eve.

This is not a neutral game. Florida will travel 96 miles to Orlando, the Panthers 826. Florida has it all: talent and experience, plus a close-to-home advantage. They get a complete mulligan for the understandable letdown in opening round. But it will serve as a wake-up call.
