Wise Guy
(NFL) Dallas vs. Washington,
Point Spread: 3.00 | -105.00 Washington (Home)
Result: Win
The Redskins did everything they could to lose against the Atlanta Falcons, yet still had a chance to win on a two-point conversion at the end. Kirk Cousins was far from perfect, but he was much better than Robert Griffin III was this year and gave the Redskins a much-needed lift.

Now they get to eliminate hated rival Dallas from the NFL playoffs. Home underdogs in pure spoiler roles have been great bets for decades. Yes, the predictably unpredictable Cowboys have often followed up disaster with a quality effort, but not in December where QB Tony Romo has been rancid. He is coached by one of the worst coaches in NFL history, his star WR is walking off on the team and all the pressure is on him.

Cowboys middle linebacker Sean Lee has not been ruled out, but he is clearly not 100 percent and is their best player. Fading Dallas as a road favorite in a game they may need to win (if they lose and the Eagles win on SNF) to stay alive is easy money.
