Wise Guy
(NFL) San Francisco vs. Tampa Bay,
Point Spread: 6.00 | -115.00 Tampa Bay (Home)
Result: Loss
Getting rid of Josh Freeman was as much of an addition by subtraction as there was in recent sports betting memory. The only thing more detrimental to a team than a QB with a lousy attitude and work ethic is a QB with a lousy attitude and work ethic who also is terrible. That was Josh.

Mike Glennon is not exactly going to the Hall-of-Fame, but he is not hurting Tampa the way Freeman did. Now Tampa has that very dangerous combo of motivated to play spoilers, fighting for jobs for next year if not their careers and getting too many points because of the false perception that the team that needs a win more is the better bet.

Tampa is on 4-1 straight up and 5-1 against the spread runs. The only spread setback was on the second of back-to-back road games at volcanic Carolina. Now they play back-to-back home games against a Niner team off an emotional and close win to Seattle. San Francisco will travel about 2,401 miles.

Colin Kaepernick has had some ups and downs since early on in the year. That is exactly the type of QB we want to fade as a big road favorite. Tampa stays hot.
