Gary Kubiak made a bizarre decision to bench Case Keenum and replace him with fading QB Matt Schaub. He corrected his blunder by assuring everyone Keenum will start this week. Houston has had a combined 51 or more total points in their last three games because Keenum opens up the offense.

His starts: eight touchdown passes to just one interception, 14 completions of 25 yards or more and quarterback rating of 99.0. That is best in the division, even higher than Andrew Luck.

The difference between Keenum at home QBR and road QBR is 31.4. He is significantly better at home.

Jags coach Gus Bradley wants the coaching staff to be aggressive in their decisions, whether it is trick plays or fourth-down gambles on offense or jail-break blitzes on defense.

This means fewer sustained drives. The squeaky wheel always gets the oil. The Jags best playmaker (who is not suspended) Cecil Shorts was demanding the ball more. He will get it. Look for both offenses to play as aggressively as they have all year.

Kubiak has one and only one way he could save his job. That is if Keenum explodes into the QB of the future. Kubiak knows that. He will live or die with Case.
