Remember this is the first bowl game for Penn State since they had their eligibility restored following the Jerry Sandusky disgrace.

Of course every team can rally around winning one for seniors, but this one is genuine. The seniors stuck with the team thick and thin and no question to send them out on a winning note is huge.

Penn State allotment of tickets for the New Era Pinstripe Bowl has already been exhausted before seats have been put on sale to the general public. It has been my experience that there is never a disconnect between the fans and the team about the importance of a bowl game. How quickly the tickets were gobbled up tells you how much this game means to the rebuilding of Penn State. Some may call it an intangibles plays, but emotion will be real for PSU.
