SEC East Game of the Year

We told you all year long the Vols were a young and talented team that will get better as the year goes along and will especially play better at home. The Vols are 4-2 straight up and against the spread at home but their two setbacks were by a combined two points in Vegas. Yes they are nearly perfect at home against the spread at home as all covers were by three or more. This includes their biggest cover of the season last game. Or to put it succinctly, they are playing better as the year goes on and they are playing better at home.

Sophomore quarterback Joshua Dobbs has helped put the Volunteers on the verge of becoming bowl eligible for the first time since 2010. Dobbs has 1,079 total yards, 790 passing, and has accounted for 11 touchdowns in his three games, with Tennessee winning the past two.

Yes this is a team peaking now for many reasons. Both South Dakota State Austin Sumner and Toledo Phillip Ely were injured and did not return in their teams losses to the Tigers. So Mizzou has had some good fortune but it runs out here.
